Biography
Oytun was born in Istanbul in 1985. His childhood passed in a tourism environment because of his family business. Raised as hotelier in his family hotel located in Bodrum, he had an opportunity to expertise in service, hospitality, and travel from his childhood.
He studied International Economics at Bilgi University. Then, lived in Switzerland for a year and a half to study MBA in Service Management at Glion Institute of Higher Education which is one of the top three hospitality management universities worldwide.
Since his childhood, he had a deep interest in Photography, Videography, Music, and Design. Oytun has reflected his creativity in all his career and become an innovator with his creative ideas in all businesses he has been running.
After completing his studies at Glion Switzerland he returned to Bodrum for running his own family hotel, where he stayed for 6 years as the Head of Operations and Vice President. Under his management, Sianji Wellbeing Resort has been awarded 21 times by 5 different authorities. One of the milestones in his career was granting Sianji Europe's Leading Wellness Resort 2 times in a row. Because of his success, he became one of the influential young leaders in the hospitality industry from Turkey and raised attention to Wellness tourism in Turkey.
He has given many speeches and interviews in Turkey and Europe to develop the tourism industry.
After, successful 6 years of Hotel management, he decided to move out from Turkey and he started to live in Dubai and has been hired as Regional Director by Q Food & Beverage which owns leading Restaurant brands like Huqqa and The Galliard. Well-known two restaurants Huqqa Restaurant and The Galliard have been established for the first time outside Turkey in Dubai. He then was assigned as CEO of Dives Holding which owns the CZNBURAK restaurant brand which is a celebrity influencer chefs restaurant to expand and structure the brand's global expansion. Oytun is one of the pioneers behind the successful expansion of local brands to the world. They are now one of the top 3 performing restaurants in their segments in Downtown Dubai. People in the industry define him as "The Guy who makes a local restaurant brand a global brand".
After a successful 6 years working as a professional and mastermind behind many Turkish brands which expanded to Middle East, he then decided to open his own hospitality company called Gastronaut Hospitality by merging his expertise with his partner Orkan Doganci. They have created brands such as Trove, Boho, Lezzet, and Nefes in less than a year. All are created by Gastronaut Hospitality. In 2023 Gastronaut exited Nefes and Lezzet and sold their shares. Gastronaut continues as owner of Trove Restaurant located in Fashion Avenue of Dubai Mall and owner of BohoX Cafe in the MBR Boulevard Dubai.
Gastronaut Hospitality has consultancy division which created and curated homegrown brands like Zenon, Blume, Rodina, District 8 Marina, Luxuria, and Cavista brands for Alex Hospitality group. The company serves turn key solution for creating restaurant brands, concepts and help investors throughout A to Z processes.
Oytun is now working on his most ambitious project Woohoo which will be a dine in future concept.
His hobbies are drone Photography, Motorcycles, Scuba Diving, Traveling and Gastronomy. Oytun has started a new project as a hobby called Harley Baba, a youtube channel.

Start up of an holding group who owns CZNBURAK brand which is a local Turkish Brand by world wide well known celebrity chef Burak. Arun is aiming to establish CZNBURAK Restaurant brand in GCC with an upgraded concept along with sub brands targetting fast food and shisha lounge concept.

Has established a successful Business startup including Legal, Operational, Reporting, Marketing aspects of two Restaurant concepts with a shared kithcen in The Dubai Mall by Emaar, the biggest Shopping Mall in the world. Both Restaurants became one of the top 3 performing in the Dubai Mall in less than 4 months.
